Polysiloxane (Condensation Silicone)
This soft-to-mix, elastically-setting putty is ideal for various clinical scenarios and is especially recommended for the single-stage technique.
APPLICATION:
- Zetaplus: A polysiloxane designed for the first impression, characterized by initial flow during the working phase and high rigidity after setting. Recommended for the two-stage technique (double impression).
- Zetaplus Soft: A polysiloxane for the first impression that offers initial flow in the working phase and sufficient elasticity upon removal from the oral cavity. Best suited for the two-stage technique (double impression).
- Oranwash VL: A low-viscosity, extremely fluid, hydrocompatible polysiloxane. Ideal for the two-stage technique (double impression).
- Oranwash L: Another low-viscosity, fluid, hydrocompatible polysiloxane, recommended for the two-stage technique (double impression).
- Thixoflex M: A low-viscosity, thixotropic, hydrocompatible polysiloxane. It does not drip when injected directly onto the preparation, yet it flows easily. It is recommended for the two-stage technique (double impression), single-phase (simultaneous), and relining of removable prostheses.

Directions To Use
Dosage:
- Use the measuring spoon to measure the required amount of Zetaplus, spreading it evenly over your hand.
- Ensure the putty is level with the top of the measuring scoop.
- Press the rim of the measuring scoop onto the putty once for each measure dosed.
- For each measure of material, apply two strips of Zhermack Indurent Gel, each 4 cm long.
- If using Zhermack Indurent Liquid, add 5-6 drops of hardening liquid for each scoop of putty.
Mixing:
- Fold and knead the putty with your fingertips for about 30 seconds until the colour is uniform, with no streaks.
- Spread the mixed putty over the impression tray.
- The total working time, including mixing, is around 1 minute and 15 seconds.
- Place the tray into the mouth and wait for the material to set, which will take approximately 3 minutes and 15 seconds.
