Hydrorise is a high-performance, hyper-hydrocompatible A-silicone designed for high-precision impressions. It is adaptable to various impression techniques, including double-step impressions, simultaneous impressions with double viscosity, and monophase impressions, making it versatile for different clinical situations.
The material utilizes exclusive AMDA (Advanced Moisture Displacement Action) technology, developed by Zhermack’s research team. This technology ensures precise reproduction of details in the moist environment of the mouth while maintaining the integrity of the impression margins thanks to its strong tear resistance. Hydrorise’s exceptional hydro compatibility promotes better fluidity, allowing the silicone to adapt seamlessly to various dental morphologies and significantly enhancing the quality of the impression. Additionally, Hydrorise is formulated with patient comfort in mind; its thixotropic properties prevent the material from flowing in the mouth during the impression-taking process. The combination of its physical and mechanical characteristics makes Hydrorise a reliable and precise material, enabling professionals to optimize working times while enhancing patient comfort.
Zhermack Hydrorise Putty Impression Material (Normal Set)
Hydrorise allows for the use of different viscosities to suit specific situations and offers a variety of setting times for any impression procedure. The high performance of Hydrorise is largely due to its “hyperhydro compatibility” technology, which increases the flowability of the silicone, improving impression definition.
- Provides maximum precision in detail reproduction
- Offers excellent resistance to deformation
- Ensures excellent elastic recovery
- Features high dimensional stability
- Reduces material waste when used with the 5:1 automatic mixing system
Features
Hydrorise boasts an impressive elastic recovery of at least 99%, ensuring that the material returns to its original shape after deformation. This makes it highly reliable for creating accurate and long-lasting impressions. Additionally, it offers exceptional dimensional stability for up to 21 days, maintaining its form even over an extended period.
The material also features excellent tear resistance, which helps maintain the integrity of the impression during and after the procedure. Hydrorise is biocompatible, making it safe for use on even damaged mucosa, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
With 5-micron detail reproduction, Hydrorise captures fine details with precision, enhancing the quality of the impression. Its high hydrocompatibility ensures smooth flow and accurate replication of dental structures, while its contact angle performance is among the best on the market, contributing to superior ease of use and material handling.
Directions To Use
All standard and/or special trays can be used for impressions, as long as they are rigid and non-deformable. It is essential to ensure proper adhesion of the material to the impression tray to avoid errors, particularly when removing the tray from the mouth. To guarantee a strong bond, select an adhesive that is compatible with the type and material of the tray.
For Hydrorise putty (mixing ratio 1:1), begin by using the color-coded dosing scoops to take the required amounts of both the base and catalyst from the tubs. Mix the two components in equal proportions until a homogeneous mixture is achieved, with no streaks visible. This process should take approximately 30 seconds.
For Hydrorise light body and regular body (cartridge version 50ml, 1:1), first assemble the dispensing gun and attach the cartridge. Before fitting the tip, ensure that both components (base and catalyst) extrude evenly by applying gentle pressure to the dispenser lever. Discard a small amount of material to confirm even flow before continuing. Then, attach the mixing tip and, if necessary, the intraoral tip.
