Directions To Use
- Open the bag and transfer the alginate into an airtight container.
- Retain the lot number and expiration date by cutting out the relevant details from the bag. Shake the container 2-3 times to evenly distribute the powder, then proceed with mixing.
- Using the dosing spoon, scoop the powder without compressing it. Level the powder by running a flat spatula over the spoon and remove any excess.
- Pour the measured powder into a rubber mixing cup. Repeat the process until the required amount is reached.
- Add ⅓ of a measuring cup of water (15ml) for every spoonful of powder (7g).
- Seal the container and store it at 5-27°C.
- Pour the water into the powder and mix for the recommended duration.
- Spread the mixed material evenly on the impression tray and insert it into the patient’s mouth before the end of the working time.
- Allow the material to set and harden, ensuring the recommended time in the mouth has passed before removal.
