Directions To Use
Impression Tray Selection and Material Application:
Any standard or specialized trays can be used, provided they are rigid and do not deform. Zhermack’s Hi-Tray impression trays are highly recommended for optimal results. Ensuring proper adhesion of the material to the impression tray is crucial to avoid any inaccuracies, especially when removing the tray from the patient’s mouth. To achieve a strong bond, select an adhesive that is compatible with the tray’s material and type.
To prepare the material, use the color-coded dosing spoons to scoop the two components from their tubs. Mix equal parts of Base and Catalyst thoroughly for approximately 30 seconds, ensuring a homogeneous mix without streaks. Once mixed, transfer the material into the impression tray.
Be aware that contact with latex gloves can prevent polysiloxanes from setting properly. Avoid direct or indirect contact with latex gloves. Wash your hands thoroughly to remove any potential contaminants, or use vinyl gloves instead.
