The GDC Concave osteotomes are primarily utilized in dental sinus lifting procedures, also referred to as sinus augmentation or sinus grafting. During a sinus lift, the sinus membrane is elevated, and bone graft material is placed beneath it to increase the bone height in the upper jaw. Concave osteotomes play a vital role in preparing the site for the bone graft.
