Directions To Use

• Examine the Mouth: Inspect the patient’s mouth to identify the specific tooth or teeth for extraction. Consider the tooth type, location, and condition before selecting the appropriate forceps from the set.
• Administer Anesthesia: Provide local anesthesia to ensure the patient’s comfort. Follow proper techniques and adjust the dosage based on the patient’s age, medical history, and the extraction procedure.
• Select the Appropriate Forceps: Choose the correct forceps from the GDC Extraction Forceps Pedo Set based on the tooth type and location. The set includes various sizes and designs for different extraction needs.
• Grip the Forceps Properly: Hold the selected forceps in your dominant hand, ensuring a firm, comfortable grip. Get familiar with the handles and beaks to ensure proper orientation and control.
• Position the Forceps: Place the forceps around the tooth, making sure the beaks securely grip the crown of the tooth. Ensure the beaks are properly seated and aligned with the tooth.
• Apply Controlled Pressure: Use controlled pressure and a gentle twisting motion to loosen the tooth. Gradually increase force while avoiding excessive trauma to surrounding tissues.
• Extract the Tooth: Once the tooth is loosened, carefully lift and remove it from the socket using slow, steady motions to minimize discomfort or injury.
