Directions To Use

• Prepare the patient: Ensure the patient is comfortably positioned in the dental chair, and that the appropriate anesthesia has been administered to numb the area before starting the procedure.
• Select the appropriate forceps: Verify that the Afx74n forceps are the correct instrument for the specific tooth and root to be extracted. Check that the forceps are clean and in optimal working condition.
• Grasp the forceps: Hold the forceps with your dominant hand, ensuring a firm, comfortable grip. Position your fingers on the handles to ensure better control and stability.
• Approach the tooth: Position the beaks of the forceps around the tooth’s root, making sure they securely grip it without applying excessive pressure.
• Apply controlled pressure: Gently apply steady pressure to the root, rocking the forceps back and forth in a slow motion to help loosen the tooth from its socket.
• Maintain stability: Keep the forceps steady and firmly in place while applying pressure, avoiding any unnecessary movement to ensure a smooth extraction.
• Extract the tooth: Once the tooth is adequately loosened, apply controlled, steady force to lift it out of its socket. Be cautious not to use excessive force to avoid damaging surrounding tissues.
• Inspect and clean: After the extraction, carefully examine the extracted tooth and the socket to ensure no fragments are left behind. Clean the extraction site and provide the patient with post-extraction care instructions.
