GC Tooth Mousse is a topical tooth crème designed to help remineralize teeth. It contains RECALDENT (CPP-ACP – Casein Phosphopeptide-Amorphous Calcium Phosphate), a unique milk-derived protein that aids in replacing lost minerals in teeth while protecting them from decay and erosion. This technology has a distinctive ability to deliver bioavailable calcium and phosphate when the patient’s saliva is acid-challenged due to the normal digestive process.
When applied in the oral environment, CPP-ACP binds to biofilms, plaque, bacteria, hydroxyapatite, and soft tissue, localizing bioavailable calcium and phosphate to the tooth surface.
Advantages
GC Tooth Mousse provides several benefits to oral health. The CPP-ACP molecule binds to biofilm, plaque, bacteria, hydroxyapatite, and surrounding soft tissue. This delivers the benefits of Casein Phosphopeptide-Amorphous Calcium Phosphate and helps inhibit enamel demineralization while promoting remineralization. It also reduces hypersensitivity by sealing open dentinal tubules and prevents initial caries formation thanks to its anti-cariogenic properties. Furthermore, it can reverse white spot lesions. The product’s delightful flavors stimulate saliva flow, further enhancing the effectiveness of CPP-ACP.
Indications
GC Tooth Mousse is ideal for a variety of dental care needs, including providing extra protection for teeth, post-whitening care, desensitizing treatments, and use during or after orthodontic procedures. It is also beneficial for medically compromised patients, those with dry mouth or acidic oral environments, and those experiencing erosion or gastric reflux. The product is suitable for patients with poor plaque control, high caries risk, or who suffer from white spot lesions. Additionally, it provides extra protection for teeth of pregnant women and children under six years of age. It is particularly helpful for individuals with low to medium caries risk or those who have undergone professional dental procedures like root scaling or cleaning.
Features
GC Tooth Mousse delivers RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP), a powerful ingredient that helps restore the mineral balance in the oral environment. It offers extra protection for teeth by neutralizing acid challenges caused by acidogenic bacteria in plaque and other internal or external acid sources. Available in five delicious flavors—melon, mint, strawberry, tutti-frutti—it provides a pleasant experience while enhancing oral health. The 40g tube allows for 10-15 smooth applications, making it easy to use. Additionally, it helps reduce sensitivity following tooth whitening procedures, restoring balance and comfort to the teeth.
Specifications
GC Tooth Mousse contains a combination of key ingredients, including Glycerol, CPP-ACP, D-sorbitol, Propylene glycol, Silicon dioxide, and Titanium dioxide. The product is available in a variety of flavors, such as Mint, Strawberry, Tutti Frutti, Melon, and Vanilla, providing a pleasant taste experience. To ensure optimal storage, keep it in a cool, dry area with low humidity, away from direct sunlight, at temperatures between 8-25°C (46.4–77.0°F). The shelf life of GC Tooth Mousse is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
It is important to note that saliva enhances the effectiveness of CPP-ACP, and the flavor stimulates saliva flow. The longer CPP-ACP and saliva are maintained in the mouth, the more effective the result will be.

Directions To Use
Application Instructions:
General Use:
GC Tooth Mousse should be applied to the tooth surfaces once or twice daily, as prescribed by the dentist, and left on for 3 minutes. After this time, the patient should use their tongue to spread the creme throughout the mouth and hold it for an additional 1-2 minutes. The longer GC Tooth Mousse and saliva are kept in the mouth, the more effective the result. The patient should then expectorate and avoid rinsing, allowing any remaining creme to gradually dissipate. It is advised that the patient refrains from eating or drinking for 30 minutes after application.
In-Office Application:
- Custom Tray Application:
- Rinse the custom tray thoroughly under running water before use.
- Apply a generous layer of GC Tooth Mousse to the tray and place it on the upper and/or lower teeth.
- Leave the tray in place for at least 3 minutes.
- Remove the tray and instruct the patient to spread the remaining GC Tooth Mousse throughout the mouth using their tongue. They should hold it for 1-2 minutes, avoiding spitting or swallowing. The longer the product and saliva are maintained in the mouth, the more effective the treatment.
- After this time, the patient should expectorate and, if possible, avoid rinsing. Any remaining GC Tooth Mousse on the teeth will gradually dissipate. Advise the patient not to eat or drink for 30 minutes following the procedure.
- Any leftover GC Tooth Mousse in the tray should be rinsed or brushed off immediately.
- Non-Tray Application:
- If needed, remove excess saliva from the tooth surface using a cotton roll or pellet. However, do not dry the teeth with compressed air.
- Apply enough GC Tooth Mousse to the tooth surfaces using an application swab, gloved finger, or an Interproximal Tooth Cleaning Brush for hard-to-reach areas.
- Leave the creme undisturbed on the teeth for at least 3 minutes.
- Instruct the patient to spread the remaining GC Tooth Mousse throughout the mouth using their tongue, and to hold it in the mouth for as long as possible (another 1-2 minutes), avoiding spitting or swallowing. The longer the GC Tooth Mousse and saliva stay in the mouth, the more effective the treatment.
- After the time has passed, the patient should expectorate and, if possible, avoid rinsing. Any remaining GC Tooth Mousse on the surface can gradually dissipate. The patient should not eat or drink for 30 minutes after the application.
At-Home Application:
- Daytime Application (After Brushing):
- Apply a pea-sized amount of GC Tooth Mousse to the upper and lower teeth using a clean dry finger or cotton tip. For hard-to-reach areas, use an Interproximal Tooth Cleaning Brush or dental floss coated with the product.
- Leave the creme undisturbed for at least 3 minutes.
- Afterward, spread the remaining GC Tooth Mousse throughout the mouth using the tongue, holding it for 1-2 minutes while avoiding spitting or swallowing. The longer the GC Tooth Mousse and saliva remain in the mouth, the more effective the treatment.
- Expectorate thoroughly and, if possible, avoid rinsing. Any remaining GC Tooth Mousse can gradually dissipate. The patient should not eat or drink for 30 minutes after the application.
- Nighttime Application (After Brushing):
- Apply a pea-sized amount of GC Tooth Mousse to both the upper and lower teeth using a clean dry finger or cotton tip. For areas between the teeth, use an Interproximal Tooth Cleaning Brush or dental floss coated with the product.
- Leave the creme on the teeth undisturbed for at least 3 minutes.
- Use the tongue to spread the remaining product throughout the mouth, and hold it in the mouth for as long as possible (1-2 minutes), avoiding spitting or swallowing. The longer the product and saliva are maintained in the mouth, the more effective the result.
- Expectorate thoroughly and, if possible, avoid rinsing. Any remaining GC Tooth Mousse will gradually dissipate overnight. The patient should not eat or drink for 30 minutes after application.
