Tooth Mousse Plus is a topical tooth crème designed to help mineralize teeth. Both products in the range bind calcium and phosphate to tooth surfaces, plaque, and surrounding soft tissue. They contain RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP), a special milk-derived protein that assists in replacing lost minerals in teeth and protects them from decay and erosion. This technology has a unique ability to deliver bioavailable calcium and phosphate when the patient’s saliva is acid-challenged due to normal digestive processes. The need for calcium, phosphate, and fluoride in healthy teeth makes MI Paste and MI Paste Plus essential for both home use and dental offices. These products are available in five enjoyable flavors: melon, mint, strawberry, tutti-frutti, and vanilla. They contain 900ppm of a unique patented form of fluoride.

Features
Tooth Mousse Plus with RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP) has a proven clinical track record in treating patients with increased caries risk and white spot lesions. These patients may include individuals with orthodontic appliances, those who have undergone bleaching treatments, people who consume sports drinks, and those undergoing medical therapies that cause low salivary flow or xerostomia.
Casein Phosphopeptide (CPP) are naturally occurring molecules that bind calcium and phosphate ions, stabilizing Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP), which serves as a source of calcium and phosphate for tooth remineralization. GC Tooth Mousse Plus Paste with RECALDENT™ (CPP-ACP) is a milk-derived protein that is safe, effective, and natural. It works by replenishing tooth enamel with calcium, phosphate, and fluoride. The paste adheres easily to soft tissue, plaque, pellicle, and even hydroxyapatite, providing a mechanism similar to the mineral/statherin relationship in saliva. This allows for the release of bioavailable calcium and phosphate, which are essential for the remineralization process.
The calcium and phosphate in RECALDENT™ have been shown to help strengthen tooth enamel, reduce sensitivity, and buffer plaque acid. Unlike toothpaste, Tooth Mousse Plus is a topical tooth crème that can be safely used several times a day. It offers the same great benefits as regular Mousse Paste, with the added advantage of a patented form of fluoride that strengthens tooth enamel and protects against caries development. This paste releases vital minerals into the mouth exactly when and where they are needed, with a unique fluoride concentration of 900ppm.

Directions To Use
At the Dental Practice:
I. Custom Tray Application:
- Rinse the custom tray thoroughly under running water before use.
- Extrude a generous layer of GC Tooth Mousse Plus® into the tray, then apply it to the upper and/or lower teeth.
- Leave the tray in place for a minimum of 3 minutes.
- Remove the tray from the mouth.
- Instruct the patient to spread the remaining GC Tooth Mousse Plus® throughout the mouth using their tongue. Advise them to retain it for an additional 1-2 minutes, avoiding spitting or swallowing. The longer GC Tooth Mousse Plus® and saliva remain in the mouth, the more effective the treatment.
- Ask the patient to spit out any excess and, if possible, avoid rinsing. Any remaining GC Tooth Mousse Plus® can gradually dissipate. Instruct the patient not to eat or drink for 30 minutes after the application.
- After use, rinse or brush any residual GC Tooth Mousse Plus® off the tray with running water immediately.
II. Non-Tray Application:
- If needed, remove any excess saliva on the tooth surface using a cotton roll or pellet. There is no need to dry the teeth with compressed air.
- Apply a sufficient amount of GC Tooth Mousse Plus® to the tooth surfaces using an application swab, gloved finger, or for interproximal areas, use an Interproximal Tooth Cleaning Brush.
- Leave GC Tooth Mousse Plus® undisturbed for at least 3 minutes.
- Instruct the patient to spread the remaining GC Tooth Mousse Plus® throughout the mouth using their tongue. Advise them to retain it for an additional 1-2 minutes, avoiding spitting or swallowing. The longer the GC Tooth Mousse Plus® and saliva are maintained in the mouth, the more effective the result.
- Ask the patient to spit out the excess product and, if possible, avoid rinsing. Any remaining GC Tooth Mousse Plus® can be left to gradually dissipate. Instruct the patient not to eat or drink for 30 minutes after the application.
Applying at Home:
- Brush with a fluoride toothpaste (1,000 ppm) in the morning.
- Using a clean finger, apply a generous layer of GC Tooth Mousse or Tooth Mousse Plus to the tooth surface.
- Leave the product undisturbed in the mouth for 3 minutes (this process can be repeated up to 4 times a day).
- The longer GC Tooth Mousse Plus® and saliva are retained in the mouth, the more effective the result.
- After the application, the patient should expectorate and, if possible, avoid rinsing. Any remaining product on the surface can gradually dissipate.
- Advise the patient not to eat or drink for 30 minutes following the application.
Applying at the Dental Office:
- Using a clean finger, apply a pea-sized amount of GC Tooth Mousse or Tooth Mousse Plus to the tooth surface.
- Place the custom tray in the patient’s mouth.
- Leave the tray undisturbed in the mouth for 3 minutes.
