SOLARE X offers the same excellent handling you’ve come to expect from SOLARE, now enhanced with 60% more radiopacity. This composite simplifies aesthetic restorations by combining smooth handling, durability, and high polishability into a single, universal material. Designed to provide excellent wear resistance and a “natural feel” in the mouth, SOLARE X ensures that it does not wear away opposing enamel.
Indications:
- Direct restoratives for Class I, II, III, IV, and V cavities
- Direct restoratives for wedge-shaped defects and root surface cavities
- Direct restoratives for veneers
Advantages:
Unmatched Aesthetic Invisibility
SOLARE X provides a remarkable chameleon effect, achieving aesthetic invisibility that is unmatched. With 90% of restorations completed using a single shade, it ensures a seamless blend with natural tooth color.
Unmatched Simplicity
Designed with the clinician in mind, SOLARE X offers a strong, radiopaque composite suitable for both anterior and posterior restorations. Shade selection is remarkably simple, and the optimal combination of handling and finishing characteristics minimizes placement time while achieving high-quality restorations with ease.
Unmatched Handling
SOLARE X offers optimal adaptation, flowing just enough under pressure to ensure intimate contact with cavity walls and floors. This provides the best possible adhesive interface and marginal adaptation.
Total Control, Even with a Brush
The composite is easy to manipulate and can be brush-contoured without sticking, slumping, or setting up prematurely under the overhead light, giving clinicians complete control during placement.
Self-Correcting Surface
Free-hand contouring is simplified by a self-correcting feature that allows small surface voids and imperfections to disappear, leaving behind a smooth and naturally contoured surface.
Features
Unmatched Aesthetic Invisibility
SOLARE X offers exceptional aesthetic invisibility, allowing restorations to seamlessly blend with the natural tooth. In fact, 90% of restorations can be completed using a single shade, providing a remarkable chameleon effect that ensures the best cosmetic outcome.
Excellent Handling and Control
The composite’s handling properties give the clinician total control during placement, making it easier to work with and achieve optimal results. The material adapts well to the cavity, ensuring efficient and precise restoration.
Increased Radiopacity
SOLARE X boasts nearly 60% more radiopacity compared to its predecessor, Solare, allowing for better visibility on radiographs and enhancing the overall diagnostic process.
Durability and Wear Resistance
With outstanding wear resistance, SOLARE X is designed to withstand the forces of chewing without causing damage to opposing enamel, ensuring long-lasting restorations.
Low Polymerization Shrinkage Stress
The material’s extremely low polymerization shrinkage stress helps reduce post-operative sensitivity, providing patients with greater comfort following treatment.
Enhanced Fracture Toughness
Activated filler particles within SOLARE X reinforce the matrix, boosting fracture toughness and enhancing the longevity and reliability of the restoration.
Specifications
The material comes in a 5g size and is a radiopaque, light-curing composite resin, specifically designed for direct restorations in both anterior and posterior teeth. It is available in multiple shades to provide natural aesthetics and blend seamlessly with the surrounding tooth structure.
With a smooth, easy-to-use, and moldable consistency, the composite ensures precise application and easy handling during placement. The light-curing process guarantees optimal hardness and durability for long-lasting restorations.
This composite offers excellent wear resistance, high polishability, and strong bond strength, making it a reliable choice for dental restorations. Its radiopacity provides excellent X-ray visibility, which helps in easier diagnostics and ensures proper placement.
Compatible with most dental bonding systems, this composite offers versatility and convenience, making it a valuable option for a wide range of restorative procedures.
Directions To Use
Step 1: Begin with cavity preparation, leaving a thin layer of affected dentine directly over the pulp horn to avoid potential exposure.
Step 2: Selectively etch the enamel margins with 37% phosphoric acid gel for 15 seconds, then rinse thoroughly.
Step 3: Condition the dentine using GC CAVITY CONDITIONER (20% polyacrylic acid, 3% Aluminium Chloride) for 10 seconds. Rinse and gently dry the dentine.
Step 4: Carefully inject Fuji IXGP EXTRA onto the conditioned dentine to create the foundation for the sandwich technique. Fuji IXGP EXTRA will chemically bond to and seal the dentine surfaces, aiding in the remineralisation of the affected dentine.
Step 5: Apply G-BOND to all surfaces for 5-10 seconds, vigorously air thin, and light cure for 10 seconds. G-BOND will chemically bond with the glass ionomer cement, etched enamel, and any remaining dentine not covered by the glass ionomer cement.
Step 6: As an optional technique, place a thin layer of radiopaque flowable composite over all internal surfaces to ensure optimal adaptation of the composite resin to the bonded surfaces.
Step 7: Apply SOLARE X in incremental layers to minimize polymerisation shrinkage stress.
Step 8: Complete the composite build-up using SOLARE X shade A2, overlaid with shade A1 for a natural appearance.
Step 9: A good matrix selection and careful composite placement will result in minimal finishing and polishing requirements.
Step 10: The final restoration is completed using a closed sandwich technique for optimal strength and aesthetics.
