Product Details

GC Fuji Plus stands out due to its combination of resin and glass ionomer, making it a versatile cement suitable for various luting procedures. This resin-modified glass ionomer luting cement has consistently provided stress-free cementation for routine crown and bridge restorations, ensuring exceptional long-term clinical results. As a result, Fuji Plus has become the number one luting cement for thousands of dentists worldwide.

Indications:

  • Cementation of all types of metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal, and resin crowns, inlays, onlays, and bridges
  • Cementation of porcelain inlays
  • Cementation of all types of core material, including prefabricated pins, posts, and cast posts
  • Cementing reinforced all-ceramic crowns and bridges (e.g., Procera)

Advantages:

  • Easy mixing and handling, similar to conventional cement
  • Mechanical properties comparable to resin cements
  • Intrinsic adhesion to tooth structure
  • Eliminates complex, moisture-sensitive bonding procedures
  • Excellent adhesion to metal, resin, and silanated porcelain (multi-purpose)
  • Minimal film thickness
  • Facilitates easy seating and improved fit
  • No post-operative sensitivity
  • Comfortable for the patient
  • Very low solubility
  • Maintains marginal seal
  • Radiopaque for easier diagnosis
  • High fluoride release, especially in combination with the GC Fuji Plus Conditioner

Features

Fuji PLUS offers intrinsic adhesion to tooth structure, eliminating the need for complex and moisture-sensitive bonding procedures. It provides excellent adhesion to metal, resin, and silanated porcelain, ensuring reliable cementation across a range of materials. The radiopacity of Fuji PLUS further facilitates accurate diagnosis by making the material visible on X-rays.

Perfect Consistency:
Fuji PLUS contains finely ground glass fillers, which create an exceptionally smooth and creamy cement mix. This results in excellent flow characteristics and a low 10-micron film thickness, ensuring smooth seating for all crown, bridge, and post/core restorations.

Snap Set:
Fuji PLUS features unique snap-set characteristics, allowing excess cement to be easily removed just 60 seconds after seating the restoration. If a slower set is required, Fuji PLUS capsules can be refrigerated to extend both the working and setting times.

Moisture Tolerant:
This cement is moisture-tolerant during placement and will chemically bond to dentin, enamel, and cementum. The predictable seal created by Fuji PLUS ensures that the incidence of post-operative sensitivity is extremely low.

Fluoride Release:
Fuji PLUS provides continuous fluoride release, offering ongoing protection. Its excellent acid resistance contributes to long-term marginal integrity, helping maintain the seal for extended periods.

Strength:
Fuji PLUS benefits from resin-modified technology, which significantly increases the cohesive strength of the cement structure. This enhancement boosts the adhesive power of the glass ionomer chemistry, resulting in stronger retention and improved overall cement performance.
