Freegenol is a eugenol-free luting cement designed for the temporary cementation of indirect restorations. It is fully compatible with acrylic resin materials and is biocompatible with both tooth structure and soft tissue. Easy to use, Freegenol mixes to a smooth, creamy consistency, ensuring reliable performance.
Indications
It is ideal for the cementation of temporary crowns and bridges.
Advantages
The eugenol-free formula ensures that it will not burn or irritate soft tissue. It is compatible with plastics, does not damage acrylics, and will not affect the adhesion of bonded restorations. The thixotropic nature of Freegenol allows it to stay in place where it is applied, while also flowing smoothly under pressure.
It mixes in just 20 to 30 seconds and sets hard in three minutes, offering an efficient solution for temporary cementation. Cleanup is simple, making the entire process more convenient for dental professionals.

Directions To Use
Instructions:
Start by squeezing equal lengths of the Base and Accelerator pastes onto the mixing pad. Mix the two thoroughly for 20-30 seconds until fully combined. Next, insert the paste into the (temporary) crown or bridge and seat it onto the prepared, dry tooth. Allow the material to set for 3 minutes from the start of mixing, and then trim away any excess.
Notes:
- The setting time can be adjusted by altering the amount of Base used. More Base will result in a faster set, while less Base will slow it down. Ensure you do not exceed the Base/Accelerator ratio range of 3:2 to 2:3.
- If the material sticks to the tooth or metal, you can add up to 25% Vaseline to the total mix to prevent this.
